Hi everybody. The parents of Jacob, another preemie, found Eli’s blog and contacted me. Their son has been diagnosed with NEC two times. He is now home and doing well; we still keep in touch.

This is Jacob’s Grandma and I just want to say thak you for your prayers. Our Jacob is doing ok so far and EATING!!! Grandpa Cuck and I are praying for Eli to do well with all of his challenges and that you, Mom and Dad, have all the stamina you need to get through this. Hi Eli and Family,
I wasn’t sure what this blog was, but I know that Sara, Jake and Steve always mention you and Eli, so I thought I would look at the picture’s and send a note. He is precious. I am best friends with Jake’s Grandma (Maggie), and Jake was born on my birthday, so I have an extra special interest in Jake. I have been praying for you and yours since Sara shared your story with us. From here on out I will check into your blog, to see how he is. He is so cute and God has blessed you with this precious child. I have always believed that God gives SPECIAL children to SPECIAL parents, I know that a close firned of mine has a DOWNS son and he is 30 years old and I don’t think if wasn’t for his father and step mother he would be with us today. Special Parents, give up so much of themselves with a Special child and they at times bring more love than one that has no problems getting started in life. I don’t know you but you are speical to me, I will keep praying.
