Mommy
My name is Courtney and I am 21 years old, as of June 21, 2008. I was 20 at the time of our son’s birth. I have some college credit, but have yet to obtain a degree. Once Eli is home and settled in, I plan to either begin working or going to school part-time. Maybe eventually, I’ll be able to do both, but I want to be able to spend as much time as I can at home with Eli. To be a good Mommy is what I want more than anything in the whole world.

Daddy
My fiance is Seth, and is also 21. He works a difficult job with difficult hours for pretty good wages in order to support Eli and I. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors–hiking, camping, hunting etc. I’m sure he’ll be taking our little man on a lot of adventures!  He also likes watching sports, especially Ohio teams like the Reds and Ohio State!

Most of the people visiting this site are probably people who know us. I originally created this blog to keep family and friends updated on Eli’s progress. However, I am also hoping that other parents who are going through similar situations may stumble upon this site and find out story inspiring. Feel free to contact me with any questions; just leave a comment.

Hello i saw your myspace picture on lizzys site, and realized we have something in common our boys were both born premature at Ohio State.. I also spent time on the anit-partum floor before delivering my son 9 weeks early. He spent the first month of his life in the NICU before we were finally able to bring him home on May 28th 2008. You are very blessed to have your son on cpap so early that i a big step, and with each day he will continue to get stonger and stronger and do not get discourgaged things happen while they are in there and there are set backs but be thankful it is there with a wonderful team and not at home with you and Seth. I will pray for baby Eli and if you would ever like to talk i am avaiable. It is nice to know there is someone else going through or has gone through what you have. Best of luck and you have a beautiful baby boy.
